my son loves this book because it is about a train. we got it in a reasonable amount of time at a good price.
Customer Review: Way too long
Out of all 4 Little Touch books we have, this is the longest. The book is 21 pages long (most are about 18 pages), with a lot of stuff going on and plenty of things to push. Like a regular book, you have to read it inorder for it to make sense. The alphabet book and number book you can skip around, but each letter/letters has its own page with pictures next to it.

Customer Review: great & somewhat independent fun
My 19-month old daughter loves this book/cartridge for her leap pad. (Much better than she currently enjoys the book that came with the leappad or the Big Sister Dora software). She really enjoys the marvelous noises that Max & his wild things make (she will press the same object on a page 10 – 20 times before moving to another page or object). This will keep her engrossed for 10 – 15 minutes at a time before she gets bored or needs to ask for help. And it is a fun story that will grow with her (right now she pretty much ignores the narration).

My daughter LOVES this book. We have just about every LT book out there (which isn’t much), and she keeps this one on all of the time! She loves the songs, sounds and activities…”Get on your feet and do the wild thing dance with me!” She dances and sings to it over and over and over…makes me nuts, but she loves it! A really cute book…highly recommended for the LTLP.

Customer Review: Smelly Pencils!
When I first heard the word Smencil, I thought someone was saying “Pencil, smencil”. My daughter and her class LOVE these! Her teacher has some of these as part of their “rewards” box and this is all they ever choose when they’ve earned a reward. They really do smell like the flaver each claims to smell like. The fact that they are made from 100% recycled newspapers makes me feel good about helping the environment at the same time. I will gladly be back for more once these are gone (which won’t be for a while!)

The matching skills required for each card that comes with this game varies a lot, so this toy can be enjoyed for several years. The bear raises his flag using magnets, so no batteries required. My daughter loves when she gets the correct answer and the bear raises his flag.

My son has had this dinosaur book/card leap pad for about 4 years. He is now 8 and still plays with it. Has of yet to loose a single card. Our grandchildren also play with it and they are 14, 11, 9, and 7. Dinosaurs are universal. He wore out 2 electronic leap pads.
