I have a 4 month old rott puppy that I’m trying to creat train. She does fine in the crate when someone is in the room with her and she eats and sleeps in it with no problems. The crate is about 4 feet from my bed in my room. She listen very well she sits stays lays down and stops doing stuff on comand to the word No. But unfortunately barks and crys none stop when I place her in the crate to go to work or just am in able to spen time with her. I put the radio on a low volume and a fan blowing around the room when she’s in there. I don’t let her out when she is barkin or crying. I male her sit and be quite for a minute before I let her out. I don’t reward her bad behavior in there she has plenty of toys to play with also. My neighbors are starting to complain about the barking all day. This is not the first dog or even rott that I’ve had. But how can I get her to stop. Any answer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. i do give her treats when she goes in the by her self . i also have tried the bothroom thing and she didnt not like that at all she chewed on the door jam and made a mess outta everything. i do work with her when im home ill put her in and go watch tv and she barks then i let her bark for a bit then come in and tell her no and make her relax and lay down then leave again and it starts back up. putting anything over the crate doesnt work cause some how she gets ahold of it though the holes and pulls it into the crate and chews it up or she pulls it though the door and bends the door enough to where it opens it. ive also tried an ultra sonic indoor bark thingy and it doesnt work. my windows are all closed i live in an apartment thats the problem. she gets plenty of play time and exercise also and has a ton of toys to play with
