My wife is a fan of puzzles, so I did some looking around and picked this puzzle for one of her birthday presents. She just finished it last night and we’ve already toasted the completion with some excellent Chardonnay. This is an exceptionally high quality puzzle. You will need to have a large table devoted to the process while you piece it together. Also, plan to invest some time: There are 3000 pieces! The illustration is quite fine, but it doesn’t do it justice. The finished puzzle is gorgeous.

I got this for my little brother’s birthday and he seemed to enjoy it at first, however, he later became obsessed with solving the cube. He grew increasingly more distant and eventually stopped talking to friends and family. It got to the point where he was down to 75 pounds because he refused to eat; While he was furiously twisting the diabloical block, it broke apart, sending numbered shrapnel across the room killing both our parents. Oblivious to our parents life-less bodies, he locked himself in his room, determined to repair the cube and complete it’s unholy puzzle. I could only hear animal-like howls and shrieks through the door. I haven’t seen my brother in twelve years. I’m selling our house; I’ll probably just brick up the doorway and plaster over it.

My 21 mo daughter loves to just stack the blocks randomly but seems to enjoy the pictures when we put it together. The only negative about them is that the pictures seem to be stickers that are adhered to the blocks, so practically everyone seems to be peeling up around the edges. Customer Review: A great puzzle for stimulating thinking, but poor quality!
I gave this puzzle a high rating only because of its immense learning value. The quality of the puzzle is diminished because the stickers on each side of the puzzle can easily peel off [its just paper and not painted on], so one has to be very careful in handling the puzzle blocks. On the other hand, the educational value of this puzzle set is very high – young ones can spend quality fun time trying to figure out how to put an animal ‘together’ [there are six animals in all - pig, chicken, sheep, cow, horse, and duck]. Each puzzle block has six sides and children can learn to manipulate them to put an animal together. A set of pictures on the back of the puzzle box provides a visual cue as to how to piece each animal together.
