I received this SL 500 for Christmas. I was immediately impressed by how fast it accelerates. It’s almost too fast to run around my 2 bedroom apartment because I’m always bumping into things. It’s also very durable. It had some hard crashes into tables, walls, and couches, and it keeps on tickin.
There is one button on the remote that you must hold for the hard top roof to retract and protract. Apparently it has a clever mechanism inside which turns a motor in one direction, but gets the roof both up and down.
