Part of Lego s Duplo line, the blocks are larger and easier for little hands to grasp and fit together. In addition, only 50 pieces come with the set so completing the building is not beyond the capabilities of this age range. Older kids (3-1/2 years and up) should have no trouble following Lego s clear and colorful diagrams for fitting the blocks together. The Lego box was in great shape, it arrived promptly, and our grandson loved it! He’s a little young for Bob and Builder, but he loves his Duplos! I appreciate it that I can purchase Lego sets on Amazon that are not available for purchase in our retail outlets.

My son got this set for his second birthday. He has other bob sets too. This one is would be just as fun by itself as well. We find that if you add these sets to other legos of the same size children can be much more creative than if they were playing with just bob the builder pieces. LaDonna

This is a great toy even for my 4 year old. I had to walk him through building it, but it gave us quality time together for 2 hours. He just loves the rotating drum. The other plus point is that I see im playing longer with toys that he has “built” himslef.

Customer Review: Trains
These toys don’t “do” anything–they are “kid-driven!” Exactly what we wanted for our 6-year old son. He has had hours of fun with them (I have, too; those train sets are fun for all ages). They are durable. I gave the “educational” part 3 stars, only because one must use imagination with them. Good product.
Customer Review: Rusty the construction diesel
If your child enjoys acting out the Thomas & Friends series, Rusty is a hard-at-work, heavy-duty diesel. He is a small orange diesel who pulls a dumper that carries removable sand cargo that can work with Cranky or other Thomas cranes. The cement mixer is unique. It spins as it is pulled, almost as if it is mixing cement.
