I am a little disturbed by some of the reviews I’m reading about this doll’s skin tone. First of all, all African Americans are NOT the same skin tone! I’m African American and I am about 3 or 4 shades lighter than this doll. My skin tone in the African American community, is what we consider “High Yellow.” So I don’t get all this business about her color not being “true” African American. People please know that there is no specific African American color. African American and Latino American’s represent MANY shades of Brown. I’m talking from super “high yellow” to “ebony” dark and every beautiful shade in between.
