Customer Review: something barbie can’t do
doll is very hard to program ,the instructions are clear, but they don’t come with a list of compatible dvd players,, the only thing i could get the doll to do was change the tv channel to 11…so i told the kids to use the dvd remote to play the game,, and it only works during a couple of screens,, no response in the bibble game..barbie owes me a favor,,i am glad i bought it on clearance,, because if i paid full price i would be seriously upset,,,doesn’t anyone test these toys sold to kids today..
Customer Review: A Barbie remote control!
We finally bought these Barbie Magic of the Rainbow dolls for our 4-year-old twin daughters after hearing them beg for it repeatedly after each time the commercial aired. At first, they were very excited to play with them. Positives: The doll is durable. It encourages participants to follow instructions. Negatives: I notice my daughters have to wave the doll a few times before the DVD “hears” the instructions.

Customer Review: The doll controls the game!
This game is a great alternative to the TV remote which might be too confusing for youngsters. They can even pretend Elina’s really flying through Fairytopia by pressing a butterfly shaped button on her back which makes her wings flap back and forth.

I find that little kids like little things, so a smaller barbie doll for little hands is great. She loves them and can play along with the movie they are from.

Customer Review: Cute, but not very durable
The first set we got lasted 1 day before a leg fell off Elina. The the Enchantress’s head snapped off without anyforce from my daughters. The second set, Elinas head snapped off after 10 days and Sunburst head snapped after 12 days. My girls are not very tough on toys. These are cute and they have enjoyed them, but I will not be purchasing a third set. Hope this helps.

My daughter loves these (she’s 4), but Elena’s head broke off the first day that she played with them… we glued it back on, but I dont’ think that it will stay…

Customer Review: Pretty face, frizzy hair
This doll has a pretty, and larger face (reminscent of Bratz dolls) than Barbie and with heavier makeup, fuller lips. She’ll still fit into regular sized Barbie clothes though. Her body is glittery and she has on permanent “undergarments” so your kid can never strip her nude. If you try to undo the orange braided hair you’ll wind up with a frizzful that you can try to comb out (may 4 year old thought she looked scary with the loopy braids)but it will still be a bit crimped in the front. The hair at the back is very nicely waved though.
