XE2 Combat Wing EPP Foam Electric RC Model Airplane Kit The XE2 combat wing is made from 100% EPP foam for super durability. The XE2 combat wing is recommended for pilots of all skill levels including the “never flown before beginner.” The XE2′s airfoil is computer designed and wind tunnel tested to ensure superior flight performance. Stability for turns and inverted performance are designed into the airfoil. The XE2 features a unique “below the surface” battery compartment. This XE2 Basic Kit is meant for customers who already have radio gear from other airplanes or are replacing an old beat up combat wing with a this one. We recommend standard size servos and receiver to ensure proper balancing. The Backyard flyer planes are really fun! My grandson & I love them. Our problem is where to fly them – his yard is small & the houses close together so the planes don’t last very long. Going to a park is tricky too because they really fly & you don’t exactly control where. The company is very good & was helpful when I called about replacements.
Customer Review: Lots of fun and durable
These planes are a lot of fun and work well. My son loves them. We found that the “jet” plane with the propeller in the middle seemed the most stable, flying for the longest times. The others were more acrobatic but tended to dive into the ground sometimes. Just make sure you have a big enough area to use them in (we used the local ball field).
