1.) First, you will need to CUSTOMIZE te landing gear (front and rear), since the ones included are useless – they don’t spin; and prevent take-offs and cause crashes on landing. Build new wheels of GREATER DIAMETER, that spin freely.

Customer Review: Poor construction
This was a gift from my father to my son. We initially had some fun with the copter. It goes up and down and side ways. But then it drifted into the side of the house and fell about 20 feet. That was the end of the copter. The landing gear was broken and the rotor assembly in the main frame was broken. I tried to find spare parts online with no success.

Syma 603 Skycopter 2CH RTR RC Electric Helicopter
This is the Syma Skycopter electric RC helicopter. It is a 2 channel RTR pre-assembled helicopter that runs on a 7.2v rechargeable battery. It includes the 7.2v rechargeable battery and the charger, as well as the controller. The only thing you need that is not included is 8 AA batteries for the controller. You will need to charge the battery prior to first use. Battery charge time for this battery is 3-4 hours (Never charge longer than 6 hours!). With a full charge you will get approximately 8-10 min of flight time. This helicopter is great for all levels of experience and fun for all!
