LEGO Technic Telehandler

5102V7W3J6L LEGO Technic Telehandler LEGO Technic Telehandler Lego’s Telehandler might be the perfect toy for someone who has outgrown Bob the Builder but hasn’t outgrown a love for construction equipment. It’s a part of Lego’s Technic line, which shows simplified versions of the workings of real heavy duty machines, such as farm and construction equipment. The Telehandler set comes with 322 pieces and 2 full-color, illustrated instruction booklets. The first diagrams model Telehandler construction in 54 steps, and the second booklet shows you how to build an alternate Frontloader model with the same pieces. Knobs in the back of the model lift and extend the bucket using plastic screw threads and gearing, which provides a good lesson on the rudiments of mechanical engineering. Also included is an illustrated block inventory with part numbers, in case you need to ever re-order a replacement block. Inside the box you’ll find the instruction booklets, two numbered bags of parts, four wheels, and a sheet of five construction decals. –Porter B. Hall
Customer Review: LEGO
My 10 year old nephew was thrilled to receive this gift. I was not able to find this toy in any stores in my area so I tried Amazon.com and was surprised and happy to find it. I love the Super Saver Shipping. Thanks!
Customer Review: A big bang for a small buck
Lego 2006 Technic lineup features vehicles that are not only fun to play with, but also recreating technical aspects in today’s construction and material handling industries. The Telehandler is no exception. For $30 US you get to build not only the telehandler, but also a front-end loader. Both models feature rear-wheel steering and very realistic functions similar to the machines they are replicating. The main model in this set has a front bucket that not only raises up and down and tilts, but also telescopes out quite far. I realize that a lot of Technic enthusiasts aren’t crazy about the integration of smooth liftarms instead of the traditional studded beams, but many of the models created in the last few years look much more life-like with the smooth, curved liftarms. All in all, a good value for your money.
