We got this toy for our (3-year-old) daughter’s Christmas. She loves it. She is one of those little girls who enjoys “monsters”, but who wants them to be cute and friendly. Little Inu is a perfect match for her in that regard, it’s (obviously) a dinosaur, but an adorable, sweet dinosaur. It fulfills her nurturing side in a way she finds more enjoyable then baby dolls (she has never had much use for dolls, for one reason or another). I don’t mean that this wouldn’t be appropriate for a boy, by the way, or for older children. I think this a toy which spans both gender and age range well.
The dinosaur itself is really quite charming. It makes a large variety of noises (no actual words, however), it moves, blinks, walks a little (it only takes very small, waddling steps, and only a few at a time), cries, drinks, sleeps, eats, and plays. It displays various moods as well. It’s definately a cute toy, and it’s fun to watch it respond to one of its accessories. My daughter is quite happy with it, and I find its noises to be very tolerable (like many parents, I can find her talking toys to be quite irritating after a while, but Inu is not too bad in this respect).
I will say that this a very fragile toy. We haven’t broken it yet, or had any trouble with it, but you’ll understand what I mean if you buy it. It just feels breakable. It definately will not stand up to rough treatment. Fortunately, my child is a fairly gentle one, and we don’t intend to let her play with this by herself in any case.

Senario Little Inu
First off I would like to say that this is one of my favorite toys ive ever bought for any of my kids/grandkids/nieces/nephews..
Secondly for anyone concerned with the price (because it is kind of pricey) QVC has it on easypay alot so keep checking qvc and you can get it on $25 monthly plan.that is what i did..
This is amazing, it is soft, not like you would think he would feel, he really is soft but a bit heavy for smaller kids, it does so much i cannot even list them all, and according to qvc’s presentations, they’ve had so many new things happen that the makers didn’t even know that inu could do..he is one creative, innovative, fun toy. i love that if you dont pay attention to him for a couple minutes he starts to cry, a real cry and my grandson runs to him and says “It’s ok Inu, daddy’s here, picks him up, hugs him and rocks him til he stops crying and then puts him to bed with his special blanket lol..its just so cute. like having a real pet/baby or both. if you dont like it, you may always return it, especially on qvc due to the return policy they have its nice. well anyway, i hope this helps..

My boys, ages 7 and 4 love Little Inu. He makes cute little sounds (although, sometimes he sounds more like a horse), feels lifelike and has the cutest face. My son’s treat him like a real pet. His battery life isn’t the greatest, as our Little Inu seems to go to sleep a lot…but my boys don’t mind. They turn him off and back on again if they want to keep playing. A cute fun pet (especially if you don’t have living pets in the home due to allergies or otherwise).
