Wooden Educational Jig-Saw Puzzle – Riverboat
Develop dexterity, problem-solving and reasoning skills, hand/eye coordination, color, shape, size identification, and more with these big, bright, multicolored WOODEN JIG-SAW PUZZLES. The pieces are light in weight, large in size (about 3/4″ thick for easy handling), and interlock loosely so even pre-schoolers can assemble them easily. All are precut, safe, sturdy, and water-resistant. The colors are non-toxic stain-like impregnated finishes. The Riverboat is approximately 5-1/2″ high, 12″ wide, and is Blue in color.
This design came about when we needed a replica of our home town “Chesaning Showboat”, which is a paddle wheel riverboat used during the 2nd full week in July each year to entertain on the banks of the Shiawassee River in front of 50000 +/- people for the week, with Hollywood and local talent plus amateur acts. This design was first used as a plaque by our Village of Chesaning to use as awards, then we converted it to the puzzle for sale at the craft bazzar during Showboat festival week. Now we do most of our marketing on the web.
THE PUZZLE-MAN TOYS
Our wooden toys are created for the safety and education of all. We started designing for young children, but soon found that every person in the family was the kid having fun. While having fun, learning skills are very apparent. These wooden toys help develop dexterity, hand/eye coordination, color, shape, size identification, problem-solving and reasoning skills, plus many others.
All of our Jig-Saw Puzzles are created without a frame to insert the pieces into, as most others are.
