How are collectibles and collectors born? For us here at Radar Toys, it is something we discuss frequently. Believe it or not — it all begins with Mom and Dad. Often, most collectors can recall instances in their young lives when someone gave them a unique gift. Whether it was a Transformer or a He-Man or a Barbie — it was something special that became part of their imagination and the world of play so critical at that time of childhood. As children we form strong bonds and emotions to the toys that inhabit our play world. When we grow up many, many things change — but those memories and feelings of childlike wonder stay attached to those toys. So strong in fact, that when we see them years later, we are immediately transported back that world, however brief that may be. This is nostalgia, and it is a great thing. We celebrate it with what we do for a living. Providing collectors that time machine is something we truly enjoy.
