Open Question: Going to a barbecue next week?
I am going to a barbecue at my local church house group next Wednesday. We have been asked to bring the meat to cook, but I wondered if there was any way I could preprepare the meat so that it does not take so long to cook, but is safe? I have to eat regularly due to the fact that I am an insulin dependent diabetic. And 9 o clock in the evening is way too late. Can I partly cook meat and then wack it on the barbie when I get there? Any suggestions would be welcome. I do not like barbecued fish and I am allergic to shellfish, so prawns is out! Unless I want to go into anaphalactic shock, but that would spoil the atmosphere and I am not ready to die yet! And I do not like burgers. Tasteless, rubbery and you do not know what is in them! LOL
