I purchased Belinda Blue Bell at a local store for about five dollars. When I was removing the packaging I noticed a clear “rubber” band around the torso and legs of the doll that I was leery of cutting off due to experience with a similar doll that we purchased at a dollar store. My daughter wanted the band removed, it isn’t meant to stay anyway, and I thought it would be alright because this is Barbie, not a dollar store purchase. Well that turned out to be a mistake because a few minutes after I removed the band the legs fell off. They will only stay on if you don’t play with the doll at all. For that kind of construction I can just go back to the dollar store. No wonder Belinda is blue.
