In an historic year, what better way to inspire a little lady in your life? I seached high and low to find one. The pink presidental ball gown is a bit…ummm… bright,but her suit is lovely. She also has essentials for launching a successful campaign, and, of course, accessories. It is my hope that the recepients keept the dolls in mint condition as a reminder that they can be ANYTHING they want to be when they grow up…maybe even president!
Customer Review: Get on the campaign trail with Barbie
In this historic election, this package still would be a good idea to encourage little girls that they too have a right to seriously consider running for–and also being elected to–the Oval Office.
It would be nice to see a ‘First Gentleman Ken’ finally getting produced in tandem with these series. He again is missing from this and other packages in the ‘President Barbie’ series.
But I am pleased that ‘candidate Barbie’ was given a more professional campaign trail wardrobe during this campaign season. Her blue pinstripe suit does look like it would travel well whether she visits board rooms, public schools, or town halls.
To further help those rallies which will get staged, campaign posters, etc are included in the package. This generates crowd excitement. Barbie is the candidate who will address their issues effectively!
And in anticipation of the inauguration, we see her inaugural ball gown. It is a spaghetti strap pink number. While the shade of pink is very bright, it does not have a lot of jewels on it. It could still reasonably be something which Barbie would feel comfortable wearing in a traditionally conservative environment such as a political ball.
