NECA has managed to introduce a new feature to their toy line… articulation! This is key in having a toy that will attract children as well as adults. The package states over 20 points of articulation, but I assure you that there are more than just 20! This figure is amazing, great paint job with an amazing sculpt! The turtles have never been so impressive. Buying this packaging over the tube or box set also gives you a few accessories, unfortunately Leo doesn’t come with an extra weapon. He does however have a mini turtle, fire hydrant and a quarter section of street scenery that fits well with the other 3 Turtles. This Leo is the first of the Turtles figures to be able to take his swords out from his back! There are a few down sides to the figures though. The figures don’t seem to be very durable, the backs of the headbands feel like they could come off as soon as they come out of the package, but they will hold if you don’t mess around with them too much. Due to the different types of plastics used in the sculpt, the shell is not an issue with the legs either… free to move them forward and the shell just flexes out. Overall this is a great product, I’m guessing it wouldn’t be too good for children who are used to the Mattel line of TMNT toys. Thanks HAMMOND toys for the excellent product.
