This precious little figure is one of the most detailed small models of the Alien Queen I’ve seen. Upon opening the box, you will find a small plaque, a stand, a base, an unattached arm and leg, and the main body of the Alien Queen. The packaging was not a hassle.
As for the figure itself, it is very detailed as well as articulated; a rare combination. The queen’s head contains the classic pharyngeal jaws which you can push out. The tail can be flexed to imitate the queen’s actions in the film, but don’t think you can stab Bishop. The tail doesn’t flex too far in front of the figure. The head of the model is partially see-through, giving a very organic life-like texture to the figure. The flexible dual sets of arms on are easily poseable, and the legs are well built. Although this model is not meant for children to tackle other toys with, the joints are very stable.
On that note, the aforementioned unattached joints are connected to the body with a small cylindrical plastic part on the end of a “ball” joint. This proved to be a minor annoyance, as it took me a while to fit the cylindrical part into its niche. If you’re having problems, it’s best to use a pair of tweezers to guide the parts in.
Although this figure can stand by itself, it needs its tail for assistance. I preferred to set up the stand and pose the queen with its arms outstretched. There are more subtle posing details as well, one being the ability to move its head side to side, albeit not very much. But it does remind me of the moment in the film when the queen turns to Ridley, flexes its neck, and hisses.

at first the legs and arms are a bitch to put in, but after that, its an amazing figure. She’s very front heavy though so, even witht he stand its a bit difficult to get out some dynamic poses, but i worked it out, so should you.

This figure is absolutely gorgeous in person. It has a light amber hue when held up to the light, and when viewed normally it is irridescent purple/blue. It’s so detailed, and just the right size. It is stunning, amazing, and beautiful to look at, and it is easily one of the best looking pieces I have.
